Brad Bradford was raised in the small southern town of Leighton, Alabama and began getting his education in the game of life at an early age. He was able to overcome adversity and a serious eye injury and turn it into an unbelievable inspirational story. He actually sold chicken stew door-to-door out of the trunk of his 1959 Edsel to help pay for his college education at the University of Alabama. His leadership as a head football coach at the age of 28 was phenomenal. He led his team to 19 wins in two years in spite of having only 21 players on the team. While serving as the recruiting coordinator at the University of Alabama and later as the running back's coach at the University of Louisville, he was named by the media as one of the "Best Recruiters in the Nation." In 1995, Brad took over as Executive Director of a financial planning firm and grew the company from $1.5 million in volume to over $70 million in less than 7 years. Coach Brad is available to speak to groups of all sizes: corporate groups, athletic teams, youth groups and banquets. He has given more than 1900 talks through the years. His challenging keynote addresses and after dinner humorous speeches are some of the best. Brad and his Dad were recently inducted into the Colbert County Athletic Hall of Fame. In addition to his numerous speaking engagements and financial coaching assistance, he is an accomplished bluegrass musician. Brad is the president of Bradford Consulting Group and splits time between his homes in Wetumpka, Alabama and Destin, Florida.
